Identity crisis

Chat with a friend of mine (who happens to be a girl) The chat was about her boy friend.
....
Friend: well, unfortunately sometimes he's a bf, sometimes gf
Prakash: oh! That sure makes it difficult, now
Prakash: If you are really concerned about what you should call urself, then ask your BF what he is.
Prakash: rather, If he says he is a gay or straight, then you are straight

Friend: hahhaha really??
Friend: in fact he's a bi
Prakash: if he says he is les, then you are one too

My contingency plan

I remember, some time ago, I was telling one of my American friend how blessed we Indians are that our parents have the responsibility of getting their children married. I even proudly proclaimed that it was my contingency plan.

Few months since then, here I am, introspecting my "contingency plan".
I must have been wrong earlier. I grossly over-estimated my tolerance level, I tell myself. Or may be not. I don't know.

"It's foggy outside. I am going out to take some snaps."
"Hmm... It's so cold outside and it's a Sunday"

I shudder.

Not a good idea to let others decide your fate.

I am not designed to do that. I am taught to think in life; to take my own decisions. Whoever said man is a social animal? Whoever said living for oneself is a sin. To hell with him.
