Finally...

... the decision has been made to ban smoking in all public places in India. Honestly, I am very very pleased with the decision. Sure, it is going to make the smokers' life difficult. But what matters is that those who have been passive smokers all along can breathe freely. I hope (in fact, I am pretty sure) that the smokers will find a way.

Now it will be interesting to see how well this is executed.

It is really a good move...
but as you said there is a big loophole in this.
The police get some money from the shop guys and sell the rule :)

We have grown up in such a way that we would sell anything for money :)

After few days, it seems to be a better place. However, I have still seen one or two smokers around in public places. May be it will take time or may be it will be go back to square-one.
